Meuser commits to San Diego State...
July 28, 2009
CDA would like to
congratulate Casey Meuser on recently committing
to play college soccer at San Diego State.
When asked why Casey chose
SDSU he replied, "I had hoped to play down
South, in a Division 1 school. It was a bonus
they play in the PAC 10". Playing soccer in the
PAC 10 will give Casey the opportunity to play
against some of the top Division 1 schools on
the country like likes of UCLA, Cal and
Stanford.
Executive Director of
coaching Nathan Williams said "Of all the
players that have come through Placer United in
my time, Casey is one of the most exciting I’ve
seen. If I had to place a bet on the first
player from Placer United into CDA to play in
the MLS or the full Men`s National team, I would
put my money on Muse."
Casey is currently playing on
the CDA US Developmental Academy team and will
be competing against the Chivas USA & LA Galaxy
youth teams in the next couple months.
One of Casey`s biggest goals
is to make the all Pac- 10 team.
We wish him all the best.
